\nThe RockSport Black shocks are specifically made to work with MetalCloak True Dual-Rate Coils; the Digressive valving provide the best of
\nslow and fast speed performance.
\nShocks are made with 2.5 diameter, 3\/16 thick wall aluminum with a huge interior for fluid to ensure they stay cool and hold up to on and off-road abuse.
\nThe connects to the shock with a 3000psi high working pressure, stainless-steel braided, synthetic lined reservoir hose, with optimized flow orifices to allow unhindered shock oil flow.
\nUnique valve stack with Parabolic shim-form (Patent Pending #63\/743,954) provides a compact and simplified valve assembly that eliminates shim stack problems of conventional methods, allowing for our exacting target numbers to be achieved.
\nOur completed package allows for maximum shaft length to be utilized and provides more travel than any similar size Monotube shock; even the internals of the end caps are machined out for additional travel.
\nFunctional Type III Mil-Spec clear HARD anodized process is used on the shock piston to keep the assembly from wearing down from the high velocity fluid transfer, ensuring a long lasting service life.
\nOversized 7\/8\u2033 hard chrome plated shafts, induction hardened to Rockwell C 60+, exceeding most competitors in durability and can take a beating over and over providing the BEST protection from rock debris; this allows a consistently smooth surface for seals and wiper to ride on.
\nA triple seal pack keeps shock oil in and contaminants out. Removable Bump Cap protects the seal assembly from full compression damage and provides access for servicing the shock.
\nShock attaches with built-in off set mounts that allow for long travel capabilities with the convenience of an OE like fitment.
\nThe RockSport Black Shocks come with a 1\/8\u2033, Laser Cut, gold zinc finished reservoir mount.
\nThe shocks come with a gold zinced lower shock mount that is engineered to move the lower shock mounting location away from the Jeeps frame rails for added clearance \u2013 saving your shocks in the process. The lower shock mount is made of 3\/16\u2033 hot rolled steel and is laser cut and CNC formed for perfect fitment.
