When adding wheel travel shocks need
space to move with the axle; factory shock mount locations allow the shock bodies to interfere with the Jeep frame rails and fasten the shock eyelet to go into bind instead of swing with the axle. MetalCloak’s Outboard Front Lower Shock Mounts provide the needed clearance and turns the shock eyelet the correct direction to optimize performance. This is a simple bolt on kit that will improve the performance of your shocks.

The JK outboard front lower shock mount spacer kit is for stock axle application only.
Note:
If using OE wheels 2″ spacers will be needed to give proper clearance. These mounts are intended for use for wheels with 4.5″ of backspacing or less or an equivalent of a 2″ spacer on factory wheels.

The JK outboard front lower shock mount spacer kit may come with either hex head or button head hardware.
